This is the 2nd agreement* from The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz.

The second agreement is ‘Don’t Take Anything Personally.’ This makes sense, as if we look back at the first agreement, ‘Be Impeccable With Our Words’ we know that everything we say about other people is really about ourselves. Therefore what people say about us, is about themselves.

In short, life is a mirror.
