Spiritual Tolerance
There are a lot of ordinary people who are confused about their spirituality and troubled organizations who squabble among themselves, and even compete for adherents. In this day and age it seems there is a tremendous amount of guilt for anyone who claims not to belong to any single organized religion. Or conversely, one who claims to accept all religious paths, because they lead to God.
No matter how God is defined, personal or impersonal, and by what name he is known, this entity or energy is the one that created the world through omnipotent power. And through which channels of communication the Supreme power chooses to guide and advise the human beings in the universe seems to vary according to culture and time period, which is unavoidable.
Why It’s So Hard
Sleepwalking is akin to wandering around in a foggy daze. We weren’t born into the world this way, however. All newborns have a pure, clean inner slate upon which the experiences of the world are yet to be etched. It is only after a few years that the fog begins to set in, the fog of cultural traditions, myths, the business environment, and education.
Clouded over by incongruous, often conflicting opinions and irreconcilable points of view (including organized religion), the organism (you and I) is expected to make its way back up to the light, to re-establish contact with the universal ocean from wherein all life and materialism is created.
